What is Chiropractic care?
Chiropractors are spine, muscle and joint experts. They are qualified and trained specifically to assess, diagnose and provide effective treatment for back and neck pain, headaches, migraines, restricted mobility and much more. Care is evidence- based and focuses on hands-on-care, stretches/ exercises, nutrition and preventative measures.
Chiropractors are primary care providers for musculoskeletal injuries. A referral is not required to make an appointment with a Chiropractor and coverage may be available through your extended health plan or MSP*.
Our goal, at Victoria Family Chiropractic, is to help you reach your goal which may include relieving your pain and discomfort, restoring mobility or help preventing injuries of the spine, muscles and joints. We hope to add life to your years.

Dr. Caitin Nemec
Dr. Nemec is not accepting ICBC or WCB presently. Dr. Caitlin Nemec DC is passionate about restoring normal functional movement to all human spines. Like Dr. Cale, Caitlin’s decision to pursue a career in chiropractic was largely influenced by a positive personal experience. When she was a competitive dancer at 16 years old, she was struggling with daily headaches that finally resolved under quality chiropractic care. Seeing the results that specific chiropractic adjustments provided for herself (and other family members), combined with her passion for movement and exercise, inspired her to become a chiropractor.
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Dr. Caitlin earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the University of Winnipeg in 2010 before graduating from the Chiropractic Program at Life University in Marietta, Georgia in 2014. She then moved to Vancouver where she held a successful practice at Main St Chiropractic from 2014 to 2025. After deciding to move her family to Victoria in 2025, Caitlin joined the team at Victoria Family Chiropractic.
Caitlin enjoys working with spines of people of all ages and activity levels, including children, pregnant people and athletes. She is confident in the Webster technique. She also has special interest in biomechanics and whole body natural movement starting from the feet. This led to her becoming a certified instructor for Foundation Training exercises, and qualified to perform Functional Gait Assessments.
Dr. Caitlin is married with two young children and a large dog. Outside the office, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family, seeking out the best bakeries and ice cream spots, and running for fun and exercise.
